Project Dogwaffle PD Artist is a paint program, with a twist. It includes a ton of special effect filters. It also includes tools for animation and working with video clips (when using PD Howler). And it includes some 3D capabilities, such as to generate elevation maps with erosion and sediment deposits, and to render them into a beautiful landscape, with water too (which can be animated in the Howler edition). There's also a ton of particle brushes, foliage brushes, natural media brushes with pigment lifting, animated brushes. There are 3D trees. Photographic filters.
