Use of Plugins

Howler has an expansion capability in the form of plugins.  Plugins are external programs that are able to work with Howler.  A handful of Howlers features are implemented with plugins that are integrated with the program.

To access plugins that don't have menu items, use the Plugin panel under the Window menu, or press “k” on the keyboard.

There are a few plugins that come with Howler that do not have a regular menu item.  New plugins may also become available as an update, or from 3'rd parties that may not yet have a menu item for them.

Plugins are categorized into five groups, Filter, Import, Export, Brush, and Misc.  This keeps plugins grouped by their primary function.

You can also manage the list of plugins by pattern matching or going to the system Explorer by clicking on the options button.
