- A new DOTM: Bluffwalker - Real World Terrains in Howler Here's a retired forester who's turned into a Dogwaffler of the Moment, using PD Howler to render beautiful landscapes based on elevation maps of real(!) world data.
You might recognize Crater Lake, and other famous or intricate areas of this planet. USGS elevation data is quick and easy to obtain from http://terrain.party - he uses PuppyRay to render it.
He then also adds a very special touch by way of styling and art filters, sometimes in Howler, or also combining with other apps such as Photoshop and apps on iPad. Very inspiring!

The images shown are small subsets, cropped from the full images. Be sure to follow the link shown there to visit his Album named Digital Landscapes on his Flicker account, to see the full mages and newer ones added over time, and read the descriptions. As we reflect on the year and realize it's turning into 2018 so quickly, we'll use this opportunity to wish you a lot of happiness, with Dogwaffle of course, but also in general, good health and company, family and friends! Thanks again for using Project Dogwaffle for your creative art: PD Howler, PD Artist or PD Particles! Keep painting and dreaming! Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah or whatever you're celebrating this holiday season, and we hope Dogwaffle can be part of your celebrations, or perhaps you'll make it a gift to someone special in your life?
