| This page shows a recent satellite view from the
GOES-8 weather satellite. A few webcam's pictures are shown along
the left side. On February 26, 1998, you should
be able to see the slide across the Galapagos
islands in the Pacific, the northern parts of South America (Panama, Colombia
and Venezuela) and the Sourthern Caribbean during the total eclipse of
the sun. The
small webcam views at left are currently based on webcams in the San Diego,
California and Washington state areas. Eventually, we'll have views from
webcams in the path of totality. We're
looking for sponsors who wish to add their webcam to this page. Please
