Or, if you ordered v11.0 from our store at BMTmicro, you can just re-use your download links again to get the latest. Contact Phil or Dan if you need further help.
Main Update File
Main file: This is required, In fact it's the only new file for the 11.2 update from 11.1.
First, make sure that your current version is not currently running.
Download and save (don't open yet) this archive zip file:
Size: 5.07 MB (5,320,184 bytes)
Unzip key: Feeding FrenzyDon't 'Open' the file directly from your browser download. Save it, and then extract it.
After you have extracted the dogwaffle.exe file found within, right-click it to check its size:
Size: 15.5 MB (16,289,280 bytes)
We have done only limited testing with this. This has worked for some, but fails for some few others. We don't know what the root cause of the problem could be. It may be a good idea if you keep a safe copy of your current dogwaffle.exe file handy, in case you need to restore it, if this update doesn't work for you. We'll update this page if we find more details about the issue.
Use the above file to replace your current dogwaffle.exe file that you currently have in the folder where you have Howler 11.1 installed. Before you replace the current dogwaffle.exe with it, you may want to make a backup copy of it, for possible quick restoration if needed. And remember to always scan the files you download with updated antivirus.
Which one to replace? Where to find the old dogwaffle.exe? The actual location of your Howler 11 installation may vary.
For most default installations, by default it is in here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Howler
For most Steam installation, replace dogwaffle.exe here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PD_Howler_11
You can then run it as usual.
If it fails, you may need to run it once again as Administrator If so, right-click the file and use Run as Administrator.
