We're developing ambient occlusion for foliage brushes.
We're also adding ambient occlusion and other shading enhancements in 3D Designer.
Another new set of features are centered around the visual effect of the weather: snow deposits at high elevation and low slope, as well as erosion. We're also adding raytraced shading to the 3D Designer. Here are a few examples of what these new features can produce.
