Framer (Matte Cutter): Frame your Artwork!
Whether
it's
a picture you painted, a photograph you took
with your camera, or
an image that you downloaded, you can make it
even more presentable
with the proper framing. Look for this new
option in the Image menu.
The frame is added 'around' the original image.
You can add paper
texture to the cardboard, as well as wood and
other textures to parts
of the frame. There are lots of gradients and
presets - sometimes the
beauty of the frames will compete with the inset
:-)

Path
Tool
(aka Curve tool)
The Curve tool
has
evolved a LOT! I mean, it's a different universe.
Just look at these
many options:
The Path is a multi-point entity that can be
edited, and then used for
various purposes. You can render a brush along a
path into an
animation. You can render a brush into a single
image along the path.
You can use the shape defined by a closed path in
many ways too. Lots
more to come. Here are some of the doodles you can
use it for:

New
Brushes
There are a
number of
new brushes. Here are some effects produced with
them. Just a few. Can
you tell which?
